Letter to Audrey!

Audrey,

I just wanted to write a quick little letter telling you how proud I am of you! You are such a smart little girl!!

The other night I asked you to go to the bathroom before you went to bed and when I went to go check on you, I noticed the light was on in your room. I thought maybe you took the initiative to get into bed and all ready waiting for us to come say goodnight and have family prayer. But instead, I witnessed something far better than that..................you kneeling by your bed saying a prayer to Heavenly Father. I can't even begin to tell you how much Joy.. that gave me. I have never felt so proud of you! You are an amazing little girl and I hope you will always know how much Heavenly Father loves you and how much your mommy and daddy love you. I hope you will always have the desire to pray to Heavenly Father, like you did that night! You are an amazing and smart little girl!! I am so proud to call you my daughter!

You made me so proud again tonight. I wrote something on a piece of paper and you took it, found a blank piece of paper, and copied and wrote down everything that I had written on that paper.....even all the numbers I wrote on there, onto your piece of paper. Which by the way, you haven't learned how to write any of your numbers yet...but you did it tonight. You drew every number I had written on that paper. You just looked at it once and decided to give it a try and you did it perfect. Almost identical to how I did it. I didn't even have to show you how to draw them either, you just figured it out by taking a quick look at it. That is definitely an amazing talent you have, Audrey! Even before you did that you randomly drew the number 5,4,8,3,7 from memory. You little miss, NEVER cease to amaze me!!!!

Tyler Brent Gearhart (Bodie) Tyler Brent Gearhart, age 23, was called home Thursday, April 30, 2009 in Ogden, Utah. He was born February 17, 1986 to R. Michael and Lou Ann Turville Gearhart in Salt Lake City, Utah. He fought a courageous battle with drug addiction. Tyler had a loving personality and was loved by all who knew him. He had a contagious smile and a wonderful laugh. His quick whit and sense of humor captured everyone's love. Tyler loved his family, friends and his two dogs. He especially loved family gatherings. He was a very respectful young man, always saying please and thank you. He was always a very caring person by putting others first. Tyler graduated from Copper Hills High School in 2004. He loved all sports, especially football, basketball and snowboarding. Tyler was a true fan of the Oakland Raiders. Tyler is survived by his parents and three brothers and three sisters. Corey, Holly (Troy) Johnson, Jamie (Gene) Slater, Michael, Shawn and Lisa (Brandon) Robbins. He has nine nieces and nephews and a very special friend Tehra Dunn. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain Shadows 4th Ward Chapel, 8136 Old Bingham Hwy. West Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. and Monday, May 4, 2009 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at the West Jordan City Cemetery. About Audrey

Audrey was born at 4 pounds 14 ounces. She was just a little one. She might be small but she is a really strong girl. Audrey is a bit stubborn these days. She still likes to do things her way and when it is more convenient for her. She is very independent. We can't force her to do anything because than she won't do it. She is ready when she is ready and that is how it has always been since before she was born. She was born 3 weeks early, but came when she was ready. If she keeps this up, life is going to be hard for us (Brandon and I) when she gets older, it already is and she is only 3. :) We love her so much and would not change her for anything and are so glad she is a part of our family. We can't imagine life without little Miss. She has definitely kept us on our toes!

About Gracey

Oh , our sweet sweet Gracey. I call her Sweet girl because she really is so sweet. She was born a couple of weeks early but gave us a scare at 34 weeks when I started having consistent contractions and was dilated to a 3. Luckily she decided to wait a bit longer. When she decided to come she didn't wait long. I was in labor for 5 hours, almost 3 of which were at home. She made it so easy for me and oddly enough that is what kind of a baby she is. She is easy going and happy and smiles so much!! I love her so much!!!
