Big girl bed

We decided to put Gracey in a big girl bed a couple of nights ago. There was somebody we knew that needed a crib, so we gave them ours. So anyways, usually when Gracey goes to sleep she doesn't cry. She has kind of always been that way. But when we got rid of her crib and put her in the toddler bed she was not happy.She was happy about her bed when she didn't have to sleep in it though. But she was so mad the first night that she was determined enough to open her door to get out....and she succeeded. We now have the child lock on her door. :)

She has done a lot better than the first night, but she will cry for a minute now before she goes to sleep. But the good thing is, I really think she actually goes back and falls asleep on her bed instead of on the floor. And she doesn't fall out either. Audrey use to sleep right by the door and wouldn't take her naps for the first two weeks of being in a toddler bed. But luckily right now, Gracey is still great about taking her naps...on her bed!

So overall, I think she is doing awesome. The only trouble we have is her crying, but that doesn't last very long before she decides she is tired. I am just grateful that she doesn't play during nap times....knock on wood.
